Places to Buy Things

• Armour Store - vendors of finest protective clothing.
• Weapons Store - the tools of the trade for any number of accepted professions can be found here; exterminators, guards, Circle® Informers, ... Thus it is allowed to remain open, in spite of the oft-frequention by the criminal element.
• General Store - Food, equipment, tools and toys. Anything you need to help you work, rest and play. Except Mars Bars.

Main Landmarks

• Clocktower Square - It's a square with a clock-tower in it. It is also the geographical center of Sanctuary, and thus a bustle of activity.
• Gates of Doom - the only way into Sanctuary is now kept tightly closed. Doom himself watches closely over, preventing all entrance or escape. Still, maybe there's another way...
• Pier - This picturesque pier winds its gentle way into the lake, where swimming is permitted, but not really recommended...
• Fountain of VIB - The exact purpose of the Very Impressive Being remains unclear, but he was there at the start, and is now imortalised in marble.

Bars and Public Houses

• The Pleasant Bar - This public house has a cheery atmosphere, almost as though it were hiding something...
• Purple Dragon Pub - Reasonably priced, and darn good food and drink for all the family :-)

Services

• First Bank of Sanctuary - Money deposited here is insured by the Circle® and so cannot be readily stolen. It is said that the chocolate of your wildest dreams is stored in the mighty underground vaults here. But theves beware of its mighty guardians!
• Sanctuary Library - The more radical books are kept under lock and key, in the restricted section to the rear.

Accommodation

• East End - Budget housing. Much experience can be gained from sewer-rat hunting.
• East Park Megatower - A high-rise, residential district
• Herschel Estates - Middle-class residences
• Armadillo Arcology - A self-contained town inside a self-contained city. Places to live, shop, recreate and everything else one needs to survive.
• Tolkien Towers - Luxury, medieval-style housing for Sanctuary's more wealthy inhabitants.
